Ah, Carcosa...
A nice place to live in...if you can find it. It's located near Aldebaran, in the Hyades but sometimes comes down on Earth. When it does so, Hastur the Unspeakable can be summoned and unleash madness and destruction on our world.
Lovely, lovely town.

This drawing is based on "The King in Yellow", a play that can drive people mad just by reading it...or seeing the Yellow Sign on the cover. I decided to show Queen Cassilda on her balcony, in front of the lost Carcosa, just after the masquerade that doomed her city. She appears to have been murdered by...someone. Eh.
